The Laser-Laboratorium Göttingen GmbH![]() The Laser Laboratory Göttingen GmbH (LLG GmbH in short form) was founded by the same named registered association, Laser Laboratory Göttingen e. V. in 2002. It is our aim to find new business areas in optical technologies and to advance the exchange of technology and know-how between industry and sciences. For this purpose we use the creative and innovative environment of the northern campus in Göttingen, such as the LLG e. V. and adjoining institutes of the Georg-August University and the Max-Planck Society.
In 2004, an annex was built which is used as a center for communication and technology. It is a catalytic converter for the implementation of new and innovative technology to industrial products. Here, the LLG GmbH and other smaller high-tech companies are sited. Resident companies can use the communication area, consisting of a seminar room and several smaller conference rooms. These rooms can be hired for events, too.
![]() The LLG GmbH is mainly present in the field of contact-free measurement technology. These technologies are offered for process controlling. Part of our product range are a mobile fluorescence spectrometer (applicable in the field of in situ environment technology, controlling of drinking water and untreated water or cleanup operations) and a dense Plug & Play power meter for a fast and steady determination of laser light power in a far range of performance and spectral range. Furthermore we place a unique ultraviolet femtosecond system as light source at our customer’s disposal. A tight EUV light source emitting at a wavelength about just 13 nm (soft x-ray radiation or rather EUV) is a part of our innovative product range, too. In addition to this, we fabricate customer-specific quartz phase masks which are applicable for micro structuring with ultraviolet and high energy laser systems, particularly in combination with image processing technologies. The phase masks are applicable at wavelengths from deep UV (193 nm) to the close IR. Our service contains an independent calibration service for laser power- and energy measurement appliances. Our calibration laboratory covers a large range of application of laser sources as well as range of performances. |
